Is it time to change the form of county government?
March 7th, 2008Although it’s been talked about for years, for the first time there is a serious organized effort underway to change the form of county government from the current three countywide commissioners form to an expanded county council consisting of five members who would be elected from clearly defined geopolitical districts. The proposal also includes the hiring of a professional county manager to run the day-to-day business of the county. For more background, click issue button #4 on the website main page.
